ODS Gemstone of Excellence Rider Award

This award is designed to recognize riders who have achieved a level of proficiency in their riding at shows, both schooling shows and Recognized Shows. The riders who fulfill the GERA requirements, will be presented with a special award at an ODS Function.

No time limit, can be retroactive

Rider must be an ODS member in good standing when scores are earned (ODS
membership begins when all application forms and fees are received by ODS.)

Eligible scores must be submitted by rider on the applicable ODS application form. The form can be obtained from the awards chairperson. Completed forms for awards must
be submitted by November 25th to be included in the Annual Awards Banquet.

Nomination fee is $50.00 per level per division.

Schooling Show Division: Introductory Level, Training Level, First Level, Second Level.

Schooling Show GERA nominee must have 10 scores from ODS recognized schooling shows. Five must be from the highest level test.

Nominees must submit a copy of the front of applicable tests, a completed application and enclose the fee(s).

Recognized Show Division: Introductory Level, Training Level, First Level, Second Level,Third Level, Fourth Level, FEI.

Recognized Show GERA nominee must have 6 scores, a majority of scores must com from ODS Recognized shows. Three scores must be from the highest level test except FEI.

Nominees must submit a USDF score summary printout and/or copies of front of applicable tests, a completed application, and enclose the fee(s).
