BASIC TRAINING
WEEKEND CAMP SERIES

Theme: Fitness and 2012 Goals for you and your horse.
Programs:
Ground School: Lunging, Geometry, Lecture and Studies Active Duty: Rhythm, Suppleness, Contact Special Forces: Impulsion, Straightness, Collection Deployment: Tests
Target group: Adults who have horses training at Intro, Training or First level
Price includes board for you (up to 8 people) and your horse, lectures, lessons, FUN!
Weekend: $275 per person/horse
You provide feed/hay/shavings for your horse. Bring buckets/hangers.
We provide basic rations for you. If you want or need anything special, bring it!
Move in Friday, move out Sunday afternoon.

November 11-13. Yes, you read that right, the clinic will be presented over three days this time. We have talked about how much information we get each year, so we are going to experiment with James teaching for three days. It is not mandatory that you sign up for all three days, but we hope with the three day format that James can interact more intensely with each rider. Another change is that since so many of us have ridden with James on such a regular basis, his basic work and philosophy have hopefully become more second nature. Given that, and the desire to focus more on each individual, all lessons will be 30 minute privates on all three days.
If you are interested, and I know 8 or 9 on this list have already told me you want to ride, please get back to me and confirm that. Also please indicate how many days you will be able to join us.
Please also help out by sending in your $50 deposit by October 31. In the past, James was purchasing his own airfare, but recently that resonsibility has come to me, so having the deposits in helps with that.
Thanks as ever for your continued interest and participation in these clinics. I am looking forward to seeing you all once again!

This Camp is excellent as a preview for the Tom Poulin Dressage Clinic series starting in November or as a singular experience. Join our plan and make your efforts in and out of the show ring successful.
Camp enrollment is limited to 12 guest horses. Current neg. Coggins required with enrollment form.
Camp starts Friday at 1pm and ends Saturday pm. Fee: $175 per horse/ $50 horseless.
Horseless participants will learn plenty and receive the same written materials and lots of practice and learning. Riders have three mounted sessions in addition to discussion, lecture and practice.
